November Meeting Recap
Clinical psychologist Dr. Paula Bloom was the speaker at November’s Freelance Forum meeting to discuss the mental health and self-awareness of freelancers. Because freelancers often lead a fairly solitary work life, Bloom believes it is very important for freelancers to be very aware of thoughts and balance when things get stressful. Keeping a routine that includes plenty of sleep and exercise, she says, can help freelancers keep things in check when deadlines loom and stress levels rise.
