Program: Following a short overview presentation, our panel will discuss business trends and opportunities for marketing creatives who want to work on issues such as clean and alternative energy, climate change, sustainability and stewardship, and conservation and environmental protection.
Panel: Jame A. Riley creates PowerPoint presentations that are more like a mini-film than traditional slideshow. He is a Kent State graduate and a 16-yr member of the Forum. He also has had a life-long interest in the natural world, climate, conservation, and environmentalism. His projects have included environmental engineering and remediation, chemicals, health sciences, space exploration, and heavy industry, among others.
Linda McCulloch has been a passionate environmentalist since she was a child. As an adult, she conserves, composts, and recycles. This has led her to embrace the sustainability efforts she practices today. She is a graduate of Ringling School of Art and Design, and received The Advocate of the Year Award at the Natural Leaders Conference in 2010. She's also written blogs and articles about green marketing communications.
Linda Doherty believes that sustainability is integral to good design. Her projects have been recognized by AIGA Atlanta, HOW magazine, Print magazine, and NPR. Several projects appear in books such as the Big Book of Green Design and Designing for the Greater Good. Linda just completed two years as sustainability chair for AIGA Atlanta and is a committee member for the Green Chamber of the South.
