A Bio for Steve Knapp, Technology Copywriter

In 1989, following a short stint teaching communication courses, I began my freelance career writing documentation and training materials for such well known companies as BellSouth, IBM, Georgia-Pacific, Sears, and UPS.

I now focus exclusively on marketing communications for high tech and industrial companies. I have written about electrical, engineering, telecommunications, computer hardware and software, satellite communication, and other equally sophisticated product categories. Through this wide exposure to technology, I have developed unique skills for translating technical jargon and complex concepts into effective copy.
